I have two identical HP notebooks that went through the Windows 8.1 'update' to Windows 10 though, at a month apart. Oh, how I wish I still had 8.1 One made the migration fine and on the other one, the Touch Screen quit working and hasn't worked since. Also, if you want to stay with on Windows 10, you may want to check 3rd party website to obtain the touchscreen drivers for Windows 10 as HP doesn't support or recommend Windows 10 for this device as the drivers are unavailable via HP, otherwise, switching back to Windows 8.1 should resolve the issue as the touchscreen works fine on BIOS as you've mentioned before. Before you begin
