Skyrim Load Screen Mods

I saw some other people doing this, so I thought I'd join in. Today I released my True Thane mod for Skyrim: Special Edition. It's a mod primarily aimed at making sure that, upon becoming thane of a hold, you feel a lot more like you're actually a thane and not just some random chap who can get out of jail for free once and gets yet another follower who's just like all the others. However, users who have just installed the game or who have added new mods report that Skyrim infinite loading screen appears and they cannot play the game because of this loading screen. If you have the same problem, you can try the following fixes to solve it. Fix 1: Change Memory Allocation. How to fix Skyrim infinite loading screen?

  • Unfortunately, I was not as careful as I should have been while installing mods, and when I loaded my game to test it the load screen was a large dragon having its way with something (I forget what) as well as a rabbit being used. That was just a bit jarring and more than what I would like on load screens when my roommate may come in unexpectedly.
  • This mod blocks 'Infinite Loading Screen' bug and game freezing during play. Rather than an error of load, 'Infinite Loading Screen' is caused by an error in memory allocation. This mod modify the function of memory allocation and block all freezing due to memory allocation failure.
  • This section contains bugs related to Loading Screens (Skyrim). Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following: Please reload an old save to confirm if the bug is still happening.; If the bug is still occurring, please post the bug report with the appropriate system template 360 / XB1, PS3 / PS4, PC / MAC, NX, depending on which platform(s) the bug has been encountered on.

Mods at the top of the list are loaded first. They are considered higher in the mod load order. Some mods will say they require to be the highest mod, or at the top of the load order. On the other hand, mods at the bottom of the list are loaded last. They are considered lower in the mod load order. Some mods will require to be the lowest mod, or at the bottom of the load order.

If you are ever in doubt about a mod, go to the Nexus Mods website and search the mod title. If the author has been around for a while, you’ll find his mod there. Usually on Nexus Mods, you can find a more detailed description of where to put mods in the load order. Hopefully with this guide, you will better understand some of the terminology. I want to thank the many mod authors who are actively at work to bring us some truly amazing content. Bethesda as always is fantastic as well.
